Winona-Ryder

Winona Ryder (born Winona Laura Hornowitz) was born in Winona Minnesota. Her name was chosen by her parents for the town where she was raised as a child. Michel Horowitz is her father and Cynthia Palmer is her mother. Ryder is a Jew. Ryder believes that her father was from a Jewish origin. Uria Ryder is her younger brother. Jubal, Sunyata and Sunyata are her half-siblings. Ryder relocated with her family members to Mendocino County California at the age of seven. The family was in a house that didn't have electricity. Ryder was an avid reader and spent her time studying books since there was no television. Ryder aged 12 took up a place at the American Conservatory Theatre for acting classes in 1983. Lucas was released in 1986 and Ryder, then barely 15 years old, landed the role of a leading actor. Ryder was bullied at high school. Her performing career, she thought to help, could have helped her. Unfortunately, it didn't work out. However, it didn't stop her from making plans for her future. Beetlejuice the 1988 Tim Burton film, was her first major breakthrough. Ryder was able to continue playing characters that made a splash in a variety of films. In 1993 she received two nominations to win Academy Awards. One of them for her role in The Age of Innocence.
